Rated by Harper’s Bazaar as one of the Top Wedding Photographer in the World.

“A really successful photograph should always stir some level of emotional response in the viewer, sometimes that might mean I draw on extreme drama and passion while other moments might call for humour and looseness. Maintaining a fresh perspective on such a well documented subject is what I’m always striving for.”

With a love for high fashion and editorial imagery and a background in street photography and travel work, Sarah has become known for her unique take on the often overly prescribed genre of wedding photography. Sarah works with a host of clients in the creative and entertainment industries who value an editorial approach and crave refreshing results, often resulting in their wedding stories running on major media platforms. Sarah’s work is regularly published by Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar as well as features including the front cover of People Magazine earlier in 2017.

“In 2017 I’ve had the pleasure of photographing some extremely inspiring couples who have helped lift my work to new heights and encouraged me to challenge my own perception of exactly ‘what’ a wedding photograph and a bridal portrait should be. I’m working with such powerhouse brides who inspire me daily … it doesn’t do them any justice to portray them in the stereotypical submissive way often seen on a wedding day. My personal 2018 mission is to rewrite this narrative.”

A Brit who married a Bear … an American Bear. Sarah and Bear met in India in 2004 and have adventured together ever since. Bear works alongside Sarah as assistant/second shooter on most commissions. Based in Venice Beach, Los Angeles and often found covering commissions across the US, Europe and Internationally.
